I had the best time on my Somoloco Salsa Immersion in Medellin. The entire trip was a blast. I continue to tell friends it was an 11 out of 10. Everything from the dance instructors, to the experiences, to the city of Medellin, the tourist attractions. All of it was just perfect.

The program was set up very well and I was quite happy with it, it was a great intro for my first visit to Colombia. The teachers were great too and very talented, I was happy to have met them. Medellin is a beautiful city, I look forward to visiting it again.

Honestly one of the best vacations of my life. I am so sad to leave! Thank you for my teachers. They are THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

It was my first time salsa dancing and so happy I took classes in Colombia. We loved the experience of learning new moves from the masters during the day, and trying them out among the locals at night. I can’t think of a better way to learn! Our morning acroyoga classes were a great way to stretch out after the late nights dancing.

Before Colombia, I had never danced. I come from a culture where there is quite an aversion towards human touch and connection, while here, dancing with a partner, being held by someone, being guided, supported and led…its just magical. And its spicy, its sexy, its hot!

Dancing has been awesome. It’s something I never I thought I would learn how do well. I now can get on a dance floor with confidence. It’s been a growing, learning, and in some ways a healing experience
